Minute to Win It

Yesterday a few couples from the ward had a mini FHE and for the activity we played some Minute to Win It games. It was pretty hilarious. We did it boys against girls and the boys ended up winning :( but it was pretty close a lot of the time. My game that I played (that we didn't get on tape) was whoever could unroll a toilet paper roll the fastest spinning around. I got so dizzy and almost fell over. Crazy.

The first one was the one were you had to wear a pedometer on your head and see who could get the most "steps" while shaking your head. It was supposed to be a minute but they were getting headaches so it was only 45 seconds. Eric won this game.

The next one was who could take the tissues out of the box the fastest. The girls won on this one.

This one is who could shake the ping pong balls out of the box the fastest. The boys won on this one but it might've been closer if the holes in the box would have been smaller.

Hurricane a comin!

So one day I was in the mall and I saw this machine thing and it was a hurricane simulator. I thought/hoped it would be pretty cool so one day me and Eric and the Carr's decided to go and try it out. It wasn't as cool as I thought it would be. The winds only went up to the 80s I think and I thought/wanted it to go up to at least in the low 100s, but it didn't. Not worth it and I wouldn't really recommend it.

Graduation!!!

Yay! Eric's a college graduate! Eric graduated yesterday so now we're both graduates of college!! This graduation ceremony went by a lot faster than mine did. It was only about 2 hours (maybe a little more), a lot shorter than mine was.

I am so proud of Eric for graduating. His last few semesters have been really busy with him doing homework, projects, and his calling. I'm glad that we'll finally be able to spend some time with each other at night instead of me being home alone while he's at the library. WOOHOO!!!!

Come on Down!!!

We just got, A NEW CAR!!! (said like how they do on Price is Right). We had been kind of looking at cars for a few weeks when we knew we'd be moving and we decided to finally get this particular one we had been looking at for a few days but we didn't want to get it until we found out Eric had gotten a job for sure. So the second bit of exciting new is that ERIC GOT AN ACTUAL REAL JOB! He got a job at Hill Air Force Base doing smart people stuff that I don't really understand. So we are going to be moving somewhere in Utah. We are really excited for this new adventure in our lives, although I'm a little sad to be leaving our friends we've made and changing wards, but on the bright side we'll only be a couple of hours away so if anyone want to come visit us, don't hesitate. Plus, it won't be as hot as Vegas and it'll be a lot closer. Now back to our car. It is a 2008 Mazda 6 and I LOOOOOVE it! It has automatic everything, it's fast, and super cool/sweet. And if you'll notice on the steering wheel, it had controllers for the radio (AWESOME!) and for cruise control.

Who knew?

Tonight was Elder Hancock's last night here in Pocatello before he got transferred to Rexburg. A while ago Eric had told him about this sign that said Pocatello was the Smile Capital of the USA and so he wanted to get a picture of it so we were finally able to.

APRIL!!

So I am still horrible at posting lately so here is an entire months worth of stuff.

So this first one may not be that cool to anyone and you may think I'm a dork after posting this but I thought it was pretty darn cool. I was making/baking something and when I cracked open an egg there were TWO yolks in ONE egg! Pretty sweet if you ask me.

To celebrate Passover our ward had a ward activity where they had someone come in and explain all of the symbolism with Passover and how people celebrate it. It was pretty interesting to learn about all of these different things. Part of the night included learning about the food they eat during the holiday. On the plate there was a beet (which I didn't eat), this apple fruit stuff, hard-boiled egg, horseradish, and we also had lamb (which was really good), this bread that looked like a giant saltine, and lots of grape juice. There was also a time during the night where we had to dip some parsley in some salt water and then eat it. Holy Goodness! It was probably one of the most disgusting things I have ever eaten and it left a bad after taste in my mouth for a while. Blegh!4-6&7-10
So towards the end of March my parents went on a trip to China to visit my Uncle and Aunt who are living there for about a year teaching at a local university. Me and my sisters took turns watching my little brother and sister. On the night before my parents came home Matt and Emily decided they wanted to decorate the front window so my parents could see it when they came home that morning. They did it with these cool window crayons that were like a mix between a marker and a crayon.
They also decided they wanted to do a treasure hunt for my mom and dad the next day. So we looked up some clues on the Internet and hid them all around the house. The best clue we found was... "Uno, Dos, Tres, You'll find me in this place. One, Two, Three, You'll find me where you pee." So the next day after the kids came home from school and my parents had rested a bit they did their treasure hunt and their prizes were Warmies (rice heating pads) that they made at Tia's (thanks!) and king size Reese's.

This day we celebrated my Uncle Bryan's 50th birthday. A lot of family came and we had a really good time.

This day we watched Stacey's kids while she was at the dentist. It was a lot of fun watching those kids.

This one was just a cute one when I was changing Gage's diaper.Recently me and Eric had got a new Wii game called Just Dance. It's kind of like Dance Dance Revolution but different. Instead of using the dance pad with your feet you just use the Wii remotes instead, which makes it a lot easier for me. So, we decided to bring it to Stacey's so we could all play it. Katie actually was pretty good and a couple of time she beat Scott. But sometimes it can be a little sketchy. These are some videos of Eric and Katie, and Scott and Katie. Pretty dang funny if you ask me.

Red Robin & Band Concert

Yesterday me and Eric went to I.F. for our dentist appointments and then went to Red Robin to get my free burger. Since it was my birthday burger they also sang to me and I "got" to wear the balloon ears. But, I did get a free Sundae too. After we had been at my parents' house for a bit (we were watching my younger siblings for a few days while my parents were in China), my little brother came home and informed me that he had a band concert that night that he had forgotten about. Luckily there was nothing else going on that night so we were able to make it to his concert which he did pretty good at.
