Conner and Emma's First Talk in Primary

Today Conner and Emma gave their first talk in primary. I helped Conner give his scripture. He went up there really well, but of course didn't say anything so I ended up saying it.

And Eric helped Emma give her talk. She wouldn't even really look forward and made noises so Eric ended up giving her talk.

Monthiversary and New Beds

Conner was getting too big for his toddler bed so our friends gave us the other half of the bunk bed and the kids were able to sleep in the bunk bed for the first time tonight! (So far so good).

- Will ask "did you hear that?" whenever there's a different kind of noise
- Loves wearing Emma's boots that are too big for her

A Visit to 'Aulani

Today we decided to go and visit 'Aulani. We went to the store first and these are the flowers that Conner picked out for her.

Lucky Number 8

Yesterday Conner had his 8th surgery! He had to get his tonsils and adenoids out. The surgery went really well. He had to stay the night just for observation just because of his past history, but everything was good.

Independence Day

Today we went to the cemetery to visit 'Aulani. We went and got her some pretty flowers and a patriotic doughnut. I put the lei on her spot because I forgot to do it on Memorial Day

Later in the evening we went to Eric's brother's place and had a BBQ and did some fireworks. The kids liked the sparklers but when they started to do the louder ones they didn't like it too much, especially Conner.

Conner and Emma's First Movie and the NICU Reunion

Yesterday we took the kids to their first movie at a movie theater. They actually did pretty good. Emma sat in her seat almost the whole time and Conner had to sit in Eric's lap.

Later in the evening, we went to the NICU reunion. They had some Disney characters and some superheroes. Emma was pretty excited about that. Conner loved going on the twisty water slide.
