Really busy week

So a couple of weeks ago was dead week. It was a super busy week. First, Glenn Beck came to Pocatello to do a book signing. We got his Christmas book, The Christmas Sweater, which is a really good book, for him to sign. When I got there the line was really long and I though that it would take forever to be able to get him to sign the book. Well, I was wrong. The line moved really fast because we couldn't have any personalized messages or any posed pictures. That was fine with me, it was still cool to get the book signed and to see/meet him.
Next, there was enrichment. It was super fun. We made brown paper lunch-sack recipe books and had a taste testing of the recipes that were in the book. I forgot to take a picture of mine, but oh well. These are a couple of pictures of the girls at enrichment. I'd also like to thank all of the girls who helped in some way or another with the activity, it helped me out so much. THANK-YOU!!!

Before and setting up

So I don't have very many pictures of us setting up, but these few are of me and Eric decorating our apartment for Christmas. This is one is just of me fluffing up the branches.

Somewhat Dangerous

So a while ago Eric and I decided we wanted to go to Hairspray the musical. It was so good! This is right before it started. Technically we weren't supposed to take pictures, but it's not like I'm going to try and sell them. This is right before it started and it's showing how excited we are to go.

Our tickets were for the very top row as you can see form this picture but from this picture you can also see that there is a very big empty space below us so us and a bunch of other people moved down to about the middle so we could see better as you can see in this second picture.

These next few pictures are from different scenes of the musical and of my somewhat dangerous, illegal mission to document the happenings of mine and Eric's lives.

Getting the Tree

The day after Thanksgiving, my family has a tradition of getting a Christmas tree. I was kind of bummed that I couldn't go because I was sick. Eric was able to go and took a couple of pictures of the trees that they found. The videos are of my little sister Emily and my nephew Jace going down the hill in the saucer. The second video of Jace is pretty funny. Unfortunately the videos are sideways too.

Thanksgiving

So for Thanksgiving me and Eric decided to bring our Wii home so my family could play it. I don't have any pictures from Thanksgiving but I have a ton of videos of my family that are pretty hilarious. The game they are playing is the Mario and Sonic at the Olympics. I don't know how to turn them around so you'll have to turn your head a little. Sorry.

Still tired

So Thursday night or rather Friday morning, me and some girls from the ward went to go see the midnight showing of Twilight. It was a really good movie and we had a lot of fun just hanging out having a girls night. It felt kind of weird to be out without our husbands and plus some of us felt kind of oldish because there were a ton a high school girls. Well I didn't get home until about 2:45ish and I didn't go to bed until 3:30ish. Well I had to work at 5am the next day so I had to wake up at 4:30. After work I had to work on some homework that was due later that day and then I had to go to lab at 11. By the time lab was done I was very pooped for sleeping only one hour and I went home and crashed for about four hours. I probably won't do this again, or if I do I won't do it where I have to work at 5 in the morning. It was a super fun girls' night out. Thanks girls!

So I was watching Oprah last week and they had this thing that if you went on to snapfish.com you could get a free picture book, up to 29.99. Go Oprah! Pretty good deal if you ask me. So I signed up on 3 different email addresses and so far I have only finished one. I didn't really know what to do at first because I didn't want to do my wedding or honeymoon because I have scrapbooked those so I ended up putting up random pictures of me and Eric with little sayings. Here are a couple.

Murder Mystery

So this past Saturday some of our friends, Colin and Vanessa Carr, had a murder mystery dinner. It was so fun. We got there and started to mingle and then when we started on the appetizers we were given our first clue. There was a riddle on everyone's clues and you had to find the person who matched your answer (flour, flower; candle, stick). Let me tell you, it was hard! After that we started on dinner and were given our second clues and where the person got "murdered" Sorry Shelby. During dinner we had to try and figure out who dunit with all the clues that everyone had, kind of like clue. Yeah, I was totally wrong. I had wanted to either be the murderer or the murderee, but I was neither.
This is the nice dinner setting. We had lasagna with sparkling cider. Everything that night was delicious!

Full Freezer

A couple of days ago Eric and I went to go clean out our friends', Caleb and Nicole, fridges because they moved to Texas just barely and wanted us to clean them out. This is me and Eric's freezer after we cleaned them out, jam packed. So we are set for a while with frozen foods. Thanks Caleb and Nicole!

One Last Time of Pumpkin Carving........I Promise

After the institute party they had a ton of pumpkins left so we decided to take a few and do one last hurrah. They had a lot of little ones so I thought it'd be cool to do our name. Monday night, Eric had to go study for a test the next day so I was home alone and I decided to carve the pumpkins to pass the time.
