THHHHHEEEEE BACKSTREET BOYS!!!!!!!!

So last night was one of the best nights of MY LIFE!! For my anniversary gift from Eric he got me/us tickets to the Backstreet Boys concert in Salt Lake. I had always wanted to go ever since I was in middle school and I finally got the chance. So first we decided to go eat at The Garden which is the cheaper restaurant on top of the Joseph Smith Building. It was pretty good. I had the Chicken Parmesan which was really good. Another cool thing was that we had a view of the SLC Temple. Awesome!
Me and Eric (well mostly me) SOOOOOOO excited to see the BSB!
This was the opening of the concert and I would have to say it was pretty clever and pretty awesome!

Here's some pictures from the amazing concert!
Each member of BSB did a "remake" of a movie, Howie -- The Fast and the Furious, AJ -- Fight Club, Brian -- Enchanted, and my all time favorite Backstreet Boy since the beginning Nick -- The Matrix. They were all pretty cool.

This was one of the last songs that they did - I Want it That Way

This concert would have to be the best concert I have ever gone to! I was screaming/singing the whole time and almost lost my voice. Many girls' dreams finally came true that night, as did mine. So don't make fun, you are all jealous!

My First Bountiful Basket!

So as you can see from the title I got my first Bountiful Basket today. I was kind of nervous that we would get something crazy weird but everything we got was pretty normal. We got a cantaloupe, cherries, broccoli, lettuce, bag of beans, carrots, 5 tomatoes, 2 avocados, grapes, 11 peaches (which we might make peach salsa with), a big bunch of bananas, and 19 plums (which we might make plum sorbet with). So I am excited to try and make new things with these fruits and vegetables because I am not the best fruit and veggie eater in the world. So if anyone has any good recipes for any of this stuff let me know!

Happy Anniversary to ME!! ... Well Me And Eric

This past Wednesday was our 3rd ANNIVERSARY!! Holy cow! I cannot believe we have been married for that long. Time has gone by sooo fast. We didn't do a whole lot that day just went out to eat and then we got some cupcakes which were pretty good. Aaaannnnd there are the beautiful flowers Eric got me.

Our Day in Salt Lake...

This past weekend our friends, the Carr's came to stay with us because they were going to a Spill Canvas concert on Saturday. On Saturday we first went to a session at the Salt Lake Temple, which is amazing and there were about 6 couples taking their wedding pictures outside while we were walking into the temple. Eric said he heard from someone that there were 51 weddings that day!
After the temple we went to eat at this really good oriental food place called Thaifoon at the Gateway mall. That weekend if you ordered anything that was Evil Jungle Princess (curry) then they donated a dollar to the Susan G. Koman foundation so of course I ordered that. It was delicious.
Eric got the Miso soup and some kind of beef. I don't remember what kind but it was really good!
Another super cool thing about this place is if it is your first time eating there then you get free dessert. We got this chocolate cake with ice cream which was really good.

Waiting for our dessert to come.
A cool water wall thing that I want
And our yummy dessert
There was still time to spare before the concert started so we walked around at the Gateway for a little bit and found these sweet shades.
And then we went to the concert, which was ok.

This first band I think was named Heroes Hero, who were ok and I was probably older than all of them.
Next was this rocker chick band who I don't remember what their name is
The third band was The Brobecks and they ended up being the best band of the night.
And Spill Canvas, who was also ok.

FREE DONUT DAY!!!!!

Just so everyone knows June 4 is free donut day and you can get free donuts at I think most Krispie Kremes and Dunkin Donuts. We started partaking of this wonderful day last year in Vegas and we're probably going to make this a tradition. Yummy!

Coming to Utah

Since we are moving to Utah I wanted to get a picture of us with the Welcome to Utah sign but since it was raining and crappy outside I decided to put the camera on the high speed burst setting so I could get the moment that we got to Utah. A little nerdy I know, but oh well. The car in front of me that you can see is Eric.

There's the sign...
And closer...
There it is!
And we're in Utah!
I don't really have any pictures of our new apartment yet because I want to wait until it's all unpacked and not messy. So to be continued for that...

Memorial Weekend/Camping

Get ready for about a Gazillion pictures. So for Memorial weekend a whole bunch of us friends went camping up by Ashton. It was a lot of fun. We went Friday through Monday and all day Saturday it rained and stopped, rained and stopped, and even hailed. What the heck! That day the guys decided to go golfing (crazy) and the girls hung out in a trailer that one couple brought so we stayed dry.

This first picture is of Avery and he fell asleep on the floor with his blankie on his head and his sippie cup still in his mouth. It was pretty funny/cute.
This is another cute one of Avery after he ate either a cookies or a chocolate rice krispie treat.
Our new tent after the hail.
This one is of Avery in his sweet helmet after riding the four-wheeler, which he really liked to do.
So on Sunday we decided to go to a couple of different waterfalls that were in the area. The first one we went to was Cave Falls which most of us had never been to. It was a pretty cool place.

The lower part of the falls.
And Cave Falls...
Me and Eric in front of C.F.
The closer we got to the falls the colder and mistier it got. The first one is of Me and Eric, then just me, then nobody, then a funny one with both of us and Colin and Vanessa in the background. p.s. don't look too close at me. I have no make-up, it's cold, and I haven't showered for a couple of days.
An upper view of C.F.
I guess that there used to be kind of a cave, hence the name of the waterfall but it collapsed so this is where it used to be.
A picture of all of us that went to C.F.
The last one of us at Cave Falls.
So after we went to Cave Falls we came back to camp ate lunch and took naps and then half of us went to see Mesa Falls, which Eric has never been to.

An above view of the Lower Meas Falls and me and Eric.

And the Mint Oreo S'mores are BACK! hmmm Delicious!
This last one is of Avery. While we were cleaning out our tents he would wander in and out of everybody's tents like it was no big deal. Such a cute little kid.
