Pool Time

We decided since we are finally living in a house we needed to get a little pool so both of the kids could play in the water besides the tub. It wasn't in the best spot because our "yard" was still bumpy so the pool was also bumpy, but the kids had fun nonetheless.

Here's one of the kids actually playing nice with each other. Wherever Emma would crawl to to get a toy, Conner would soon follow.

17 Months

Conner and Emma are 17 months old! They both crawl around everywhere! Every once in a while they will army crawl but not very much. Emma can sit really well now and does it a lot. Conner still can't, but he is really close! Emma can now pull herself up to standing against the couch or anything high enough. Conner can pull himself up to kneeling against the couches, boxes, etc. They still love to imitate faces too. It's pretty funny/cute. They definitely love the new house. They will crawl everywhere if we'd let them. Emma likes to play peek-a-boo. She used to and usually still does do it with one hand and look right at you while she's dong it and recently she has started to do it with both hands.

NICU Reunion

Yesterday was the NICU Reunion for McKay-Dee Hospital. They had it at a pool with toys for all of the kids and shallow water for the little ones like ours. It was a lot of fun seeing some of the doctors and nurses that took care of our babies and some of the families that we had met there too.

Bear Lake

Last weekend we got go to Bear Lake and spend the weekend at the cabin there. That weekend it was Raspberry Days so it was pretty busy.

Friday we didn't really do a whole lot. We got there in the afternoon and just hung out. Later that night most everybody went to the rodeo in a town down the road from the cabin. Here's a couple of pictures that I took of the view from the deck at the cabin.

On Saturday we went to the beach. I wasn't sure how the kids would act in the water since they hadn't really played a whole lot in the water, except for their baths. But they loved it! Conner kept trying to crawl into the deeper water. No fear!
