1 Year!!!!

Yay! Happy Anniversary to us! Today is me and Eric's 1 year anniversary. It doesn't seem like we have been married for that long. I love it though. Being married is one of the greatest things in the world! Today we didn't do much seeing as I had class in the morning and Eric had to work all day come home for a few hours to take a nap and then go to work all night. I did make dinner for him though, just chicken and rice with teriyaki sauce. I also made some oreo kisses. Here are a couple of pictures of them. They were good, but they made a mess when I made them.

After we ate some dinner Tia and Blaise came over and we ate some of me and Eric's wedding cake that we didn't really get that much of on our wedding day, just the cake that got stuffed in our noses. It actually wasn't that bad, it was pretty good. Here is the cake coming out of the wrapping after a year.

And here it is without all the layers...

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!

This one is a short one. Me and Eric both have jobs now! He started about a week ago. He works at the Idaho State Journal putting different newspapers on the internet and I just got a job at the Red Lion as a banquet attendent. It sounds pretty fun and somewhat easy. The only bad thing about both of our jobs is that they are late night. He works from 11pm-7am three days a week and I'm not exactly sure what hours I'm going to work but I know that some of the days will be late, but oh well, they're jobs.

Planting some flowers

On Wednesday the manager of our apartment complex had kind of a mini party where we planted flowers in the the flower beds. It was pretty fun. Here's some pictures of me and Eric starting to dig the holes for the seeds.

Here is one of our neighbors planting some flowers and working on the gardens. Our manager is in the pink shirt and her husband is the tall one with the striped shirt.

These next couple are of the little neighbor boy. He is so cute and he loved spraying the stuff we planted with the nozzle thing. He and his mom are from Iran and are the nicest people.

This one is of his mom and the view from our deck onto the flower bed below.
