Snowbasin

Today we took a drive up to Snowbasin to see the snow. Eric had taken the kids yesterday and I wanted to go too so we went today. It was a little more windy today so it was a little cooler. We brought Emma and Owen's bikes so they rode it around the empty parking lot. They had fun with that. Conner brought a ball. We walked around a bit and kind of played in the snow. It wasn't as fun because the snow was kind of hard. I fell a bit and scraped my leg. It was still a fun little quick trip.

Conner and Emma's Honk and Wave

Today was Conner and Emma's school's Honk and Wave. They posted a route and times that they'd be on the neighborhood. It was a little rainy so I drove them to the bus stop so we wouldn't get wet while it was raining. We sat in the van until we heard the sirens and then we got out. The beginning and end of the parade had a cop car. They would play their sirens. Owen loved it, Conner not so much. Conner and Emma's teachers were at the beginning. Emma saw hers but Conner totally missed his. I teared up a bit because I missed their teachers/school so much. It was a good little pick-me-up.

Easter

Today was Easter. We didn't have church ebcause of the whole virus/social distancing thing. We did our short little sacrament in the morning and then we had breakfast. I had made rainbow bread the night before. It turned out pretty cool. Later in the afternoon, while we were all downstairs, Eric hid the eggs outside for the kids. They were all color coded and everyone had the same amount. Conner-blue, Emma-purple, Owen-orange. They just had coins in them. Owen did a little better at getting his eggs. He liked shaking them too. For dinner we had ham and mashed potatoes. It was a pretty good day. 

Owen's Monthiversary

- Likes to blow on things

- Likes to sing "The Wheels on the Bus" and constantly sings it

- Brought a book to Eric and said "story time!"

'Aulani's Day

Today was 'Aulani's 9th Angelversary. 9 years since she passed away. We didn't really do anything special today. I just didn't want to. My friend, Amanda Turpin, always remembers today. Today, she sent me a box of Crumbl cookies and a sweet note which was super nice. Stacey and Tia also texted me.
