22 Months

Two more months until my "babies" are 2! Crazy how time flies.

Here are some things that have happened in the past month:
- The both love to "talk" on my phone. When I turn it on speaker and they hear it ringing, they come as fast as they can to look at it and smile and sometimes "talk." It's pretty funny/cute
- They both like to try and stand up and lean on things and stand up for a few seconds
- They both like to wear glasses and jewelry
- When they wear their sunglasses (or any glasses) they say "cool dude" (ka-doo)
- Conner likes to bang the drawers on his dresser really hard and pull clothes out when he is supposed to be napping.
- He likes yogurt
- He can kind of stand by himself with help (i.e. leaning on an overturned bucket, etc.
- When we take Emma out of her nap she likes to tell us to be quiet (tap her mouth with her finger) but then she'll yell or make a really loud noise
- She can kind of make a monkey noise (kind of sounds like her baby voice)

The Switching of the Decorations

Today Eric and I decided to go and visit 'Aulani and change the decorations on her tree since Christmas is done. 

The snow was so deep there!!

You can't tell in this picture, but the snow was probably at least a foot deep.

Even though it is a little bit early, we (mostly just me), decided to put up her Valentine's decorations on her tree. They were foam hearts that I have had for years and they looked pretty cool on the tree fluttering around in the breeze.

Oreos!!

So to try and get Emma to eat soft foods and not just hard crunchy foods (i.e. cereal, crackers, etc.) we try and give her Oreos because they are both soft and crunchy. I think she likes them!

Playing with Snow

Today it snowed a ton so while Eric was helping our neighbors shovel their driveways I brought in a little bit of snow for the kids to play with. They would touch it gingerly and sometime they would grab it. I wish I would have gotten it on camera, but I held out a chunk of snow to Emma and I thought she would just touch it with her finger but she stuck out her tongue, just enough to barely touch it. It was so cute/funny. So here are some pictures of them playing with the snow.

Later in December we had a Christmas party with a few of our friends. We played Just Dance on the Wii and Eric and the boys are getting down

I put a piece of plastic on Conner's head and it got caught in his curls and he couldn't find it for a few seconds.
