September

We (I) wanted to paint my room. I was sick of the brown and wanted something happy/calming.

This is only 3 colors but I mixed them up for different color combinations.

Idaho

This weekend we went up to Idaho for Emily's "Homecoming." It was fun to just hang out with the family. The kids had fun playing outside.

I didn't take very many pictures. This one is of a painting that Emily did, but this is actually at Tia's.

Birthday Party

This afternoon the kids got to go to a birthday party at the neighbors house. Like always, they had a lot of fun. We have such good neighbors!

C&E Monthiversary

Emma:

- Told me once, "I hope you stay alive for the rest of your life." So cute/funny

- Says, "literally" and "basically" a lot

Conner:

- Says, "How dare you!"

I have been able/remembered to take a picture of the kids on their half-birthdays every year. It's fun to see the progression/growth.

Snowbasin

Today we went up to Snowbasin for our annual drive to see the colors and play on the playground. The colors of the trees were so pretty! I think they were more changed than last year. The kids had a lot of fun playing on the playground. After a bit another little family came and Conner had fun playing  tag and hide-and-go-seek with her. Owen liked the parents. He kept saying hi. The kids had a lot of fun. I'm glad we came.

C&E Soccer Game

Today Conner and Emma had another soccer game. They did pretty good. These are the only pictures I took.

Labor Day Weekend

This weekend we went camping up in the Uintahs with a bunch of friends. It was a lot of fun.

 

Friday

We weren't for sure we were going to be able to go camping because of some things going on, so we had to pack everything today. We didn't end up leaving until early evening, so we got there later than we wanted. We ended up having to finish the tent in the dark. Luckily, we didn't have to cook dinner, someone else did (the other families each picked a meal (dinner or breakfast) and we just paid them back. It was so nice). We had roast, potatoes, corn, and scones. It was a pretty good one. After dinner we put the kids to bed. I hung out by the fire for a little bit and then went to bed.

Saturday

Today was pretty good. We had breakfast burritos for breakfast. We didn't really do much today which was nice. We just hung out around camp and the kids played with all of the other kids. I read the new Hunger Games for a few hours. We played games and just talked. It was a nice relaxing day. For dinner we had gumbo. It was pretty yummy. The kids stayed up a bit and then went to bed. I stayed up around the fire a little bit.

Conner and Emma wanted to sleep in the smaller tent we got earlier this summer , so we set it up next to the big one.

 

 

Sunday

For breakfast we had leftovers from yesterdays breakfast and dinner. Today was much like yesterday. We just hung out around the camp all day, the kids played with each other and I read some more. We played some more games too. For dinner we had chili Verde. It was pretty good. The kids stayed up pretty late watching a movie in someone's trailer (we were the only tent campers).

 

Monday

Today we got up and had breakfast, French toast. After breakfast, we packed up. We let the kids play a bit and then we headed home.
