Valentine's Day-ish

So this post is obviously about Valentine's Day but not all of it happened on that day, hence the post title.

These are some decorations I made to add something to our big windows in our livingroom. It's crayon shavings melted/ironed in wax paper and cut into hearts.

Here is the fireplace with my holiday wreath that I change the decorations for every holiday. On the wreath I put on foam hearts that I have had for years and the mantle I made these little pompom monsters that I found on Pinterest.

Here are the BEAUTIFUL flowers that I got from Eric a couple of days before V-Day (Sorry for the all of the pictures, I just love them so much!)

When I came home from taking the kids to therapy (which was on Valentine's Day) I came home to this on the front lawn

And then when I came inside, I found this:

I would have to say this was by far my FAVORITE Valentine's Day!! Eric definitely outdid himself!

The next day one of our friends/neighbor dropped by with her little boy to bring over a rose for Emma. It was so cute! Here is Emma with her first FLOWER from a BOY!

The weekend after V-day we went and visited 'Aulani again and brought her some pretty roses and a little treat

Visit with 'Aulani

Today after the kids were done with therapy, instead of going home, we (I) decided to go and visit "Aulani. When we got there, there was quite a bit of snow there as you can see here:

Since I don't like wearing shoes I got this idea from someone and used these super sweet "boots" that actually kept my feet pretty warm and dry

'Aulani's spot was covered with snow so I had to clear it off with our window scraper. It was pretty deep.

There was a lot of frost on the edges the decorations that we had there for her. These are the flowers my parents brought for her last year I think.

This picture is one of my favorites because it looks cool with the frost on the edges of the letters.

This one is pretty cool too with the string hanging down with the frost on it too.

And here are the hearts hanging from the frosty tree

Emma got an Oreo towards the end of therapy and she got to take it home and work on it on our way home. Silly girl

Time Number 4

Today I was having a bad day so after Eric got home and we fed the kids, I decided to go and cut my hair. So at 6:30 at night I went and had it chopped it off. I ended up cutting off about 14 inches in the ponytails and then they had to cut off a little bit just to even it out.

Here is the before:

Here's my ponytails:

January

Here are some things that happened in January. They are probably not in chronological order, but oh well.

Here's a couple of pictures of Conner, Emma, and me making faces in my phone.

We have this walker thing that they both love walking with and often fight over. It's pretty cute watching them go. Sometimes they start leaning forward and get going so fast that they're almost running.

Here's a funny little video of Emma making faces in my phone.

They like to say "cool dude" (ka-do) when they wear sunglasses which they also love to wear too

This is the Suzuki family crest on Conner's shirt

Cute little Princess Emma

Conner will probably kill me when he finds out that I took this picture but I have to document his life right? But anyways back to why I took the picture. Conner was crying and I went in to check on him and he had something on his face. I thought (and hoping) at first it might be chocolate but then I realized it was poop. Luckily it wasn't that much and it wasn't all over his crib.

In this picture, Emma is wearing a dress that I think my mom made for my sister Stacey a loooooong time ago. It's kind of short on her but she still kind of fits it.

Another picture that I can use as blackmail. Conner and Emma like to give us kisses. Emma closes her mouth and just leans in and Conner opens his mouth wide open and leans in and sometimes will stick his tongue out and give you a big slobbery wet one. You can kind of see their kissing "styles" in the second picture.

Checking out the snow falling

They like to play the keyboard when they get to play downstairs

Cool dude Emma just chillin

Emma conked out in her car seat

Conner had an infection of some sort that made him break out in these spots/hives all over but luckily it didn't last too long

Conner in timeout

This is how good our toy bins work and what usually happens a few minutes after the kids come out.

Watching a show at the eye doctor.

Conner double cool dude-ing it
