Christmas Eve

Today was Christmas Eve. We only had sacrament today which was nice. They had a couple of older ladies speak, the choir sang a couple of songs and the bishop and the stake president spoke too. After church our ward gave every family a framed picture of Christ.

Once we got home, we took our annual pictures in front of the tree.

After pictures we ate lunch and took a nap. After we woke up Emma helped me make cookies for Santa. After/during dinner we watched the Christmas Devotional by the Church instead of doing an actual FHE like we've done. After the devotional was over we opened our spiritual gifts. We gave COnner and Emma a mini hymn book, Owen we gave a little book about the birth of Christ, Eric gave me a mini Nativity music box and I got Eric an Idaho Falls Temple tie clip.

After that the kids got ready for bed and got the plate of cookies and glass of milk for Santa. Emma loaded up the plate with 9 cookies! They also wrote little notes for Santa. The kids are so excited for Christmas! I can't wait to see them tomorrow morning when they see what Santa brought them and when they open their presents.

After the kids went to bed we were finally able to bring their presents out (we couldn't earlier because Owen would've destroyed them.

Santa came!
