C&E Monthiversary

Emma:

Them:
They're both doing a lot better in school. Conner is getting good colors now and hasn't gotten a bad one in a while. We also haven't gotten a call from the school/principal in a while so that's good. Emma is finishing her work now in school which is awesome!. Her teacher is so good for her.

Me Initiatories

Today I went and did initiatories at the Ogden Temple whie Owen was at preschool. It was surprisingly busy. I thought it would be semi empty because it was a weekday and in the morning. So I had to wait for a few people in front of me. It was really good.

Field Trip to Pack Farms

Today Owen had a field trip to Pack Farms with his little preschool class.

Picking out his pumpkin. He pretty much just walked over and grabbed the closest pumpkin.

He did NOT want to stand with his class.

He had fun running around the straw maze.

Didn't like going down the slide the first time

This was his favorite part. He could have stayed in this corn pit thing all day.

The second time wasn't so bad.

RSL Playoff Game

Tonight, Eric and I went to the RSL playoff game against Portland. Our neighbor was able to watch the kids, which was super awesome! Once we dropped the kids off we headed down to the game. Once we parked we got all bundled up. We had jackets, winter coats, gloves, and ponchos. It was lightly raining when we got there, but then it started to pick up as the game went on. We sat at the end, opposite of the fan section. We sat almost behind the goal, in the second row. So pretty decent seats. The game was a pretty good one. We scored in the middle of the first half. During halftime there was no entertainment because of the rain. Portland scored at the beginning of the second half. Everyone was worried that the game would go into overtime which nobody wanted because it was cold! During halftime it started to SNOW!! What?!?! So everyone was praying/hoping RSL would score so the game would end. In true RSL fashion, we scored in the 87th minute and we won!! We were so excited! It was such a good/fun game and I'm glad we went and especially glad we didn't bring the kids. We were so cold even though we brought warm clothes. We even got a little wet. It was so nice to finally get in the car so we could warm up. When we got at 11:30ish our friend said the kids were good. She brought them back to the house around 9:30ish to go to bed.

Base Trunk-or-Treat

Once we were done in Salt Lake we surprised the kids by taking them to the trunk-or-treat on base. It didn't start until 5. We got there early but there were already a ton of people there. Once 5 o'clock came around the line started moving. It took a while for us to get to the beginning of the line. The line snaked around the parking lot around the cars. The kids got quite a bit of candy! Conner decided to be Batman (sans mask), Emma was Alice again, and Owen was a mailman. A lot of people commented on Owen's costume. We had to give him a sucker to keep the peace and he drooled all over.

After the trunk-or-treat, we went inside the building where they had hotdogs and chips for dinner and Fat Boys for dessert. Owen even ate some apple slices.

After dinner we went around the side and back of the building where they had activities and games. It was a good night.
