Cardiologist

Today the kids had their yearly appointment with the cardiologist. The doctor said that Conner's heart was good and we didn't have to see her (for Conner) until he was 5! With Emma we have to see her again next year because Emma still had an ASD, which is a hole in the upper two chambers of the heart. To find more info click here. If it doesn't close by the time she is five they might have to do surgery to close it.

Here is Emma "watching" a movie on Eric's phone with a sucker.

As you can tell she didn't enjoy these sticker things very much.

Conner didn't seem like he cared or too worried.

Luckily Conner is usually pretty easy going and we can distract him with a movie most of the time.

Matt's Birthday

Even though today wasn't technically his birthday, we decided to celebrate my little bro's 16th birthday. It was pretty low key and we didn't do a whole lot. We just had a simple dinner, dessert, opened presents, and hung out.

Here's some cute pictures of Sadie

And here is the birthday boy! It is almost impossible to get a picture of him actually looking. You can see part of his birthday present from Stacey. She gave him some homemade french bread and I gave him a giant thing of chocolate milk mix and a big thing of Nutella.

Gage and Dallas. These too are best buds.

Little miss Emma

Katie and Jace

We tried to get a picture of the youngest grandkids, and it was pretty much impossible to get them all to look and hold still as you can see.

I don't know how I did it but I "made" this thing. It's kind of cool.

The zoo

Today me and the kids went to the zoo with Stacey and her family. I think they liked it. They had a hard time seeing some of the animals because I didn't really want to take them out of their stroller.

Here is my cool dude

Here are some llamas or alpacas, I don't remember which

You can kind of see a lion in the middle of this picture if you look closely

Cute little baby zebra

 A cool looking giraffe skull

A camel

A monkey with a weird tail

And some other monkeys

A lemur and its baby

And the alligator?

Almost every time I looked at Emma she had her finger in her nose

Emily came with us too and came with us back to Blackfoot. The kids were being silly so she was able to take these pictures of them.

Eric got back home this morning and was able to hitch a ride up to Idaho. We were able to go on a mini date to Rupes (which I love!!!). We hadn't been there in a long time and I was hankering for an All-American Burger and some of their yummy fries.

Visiting Cousins

Today we spent most of the day in Pocatello visiting friends and family. First we stopped at my friend's house who is due to have her baby pretty soon and hung out and talked fora bit. Next I took the kids to Costco to pick up a couple of things. I wish all shopping carts were like theirs because I can fit both kids in the front of the shopping cart. When I was in the checkout line Conner gave knuckles to this lady behind us. He is such a flirt.

After Costco we went to Tia's house and hung out for a bit too. We played outside for a little bit and the kids had fun. Emma plopped herself down and sat down by the fence. It was pretty dang cute.

The kids also played in the pool too with Dallas. Emma also ate some cheese!

I don't know why but Conner decided he wanted to drink the water out of the pool

After a while Emma went and sat down on the blanket that was on the other side of the yard all by herself and just sat there for a bit.

I don't know what Dallas was trying to do here but it was kind of funny. Conner didn't seem so sure of him.

We tried to put the kids in the hammock and Conner didn't really like it very much.

And here's some cute pictures of Sadie

I didn't think to bring another pack-n-play for the kids to sleep in so Tia only had the one. The kids cried at first then eventually they quieted down. After it was time to get them out I tried to take a picture of them before they saw me. I was close.

After Tia's we went and saw another one of my good friends. I hadn't seen her in a long time so it was really good to catch up. The kids actually did pretty good with all of the driving around everywhere.
