So yesterday Eric didn't have to work and we didn't have anything to do so we decided to finally go to the Hogle Zoo. We both hadn't been there in years! So there is going to be about a gazillion pictures so hold tight!
The Bird Show:
I told Eric that the guy looked liked William H. Macy's brother. The picture is of a huge Eurasian owl and a video of a sweet parrot!

The elephants. . .

The cute little baby elephant

And with it's mom

The rhinos

We also saw a ton of monkeys!
Here is some of Rafiki's relatives

Some more monkeys. . .

I don't remember what these ones were called but I called them skunk monkeys for obvious reasons.

Another monkey

Some monkeys picking at each other

An alligator that almost seemed like a statue

A giant tortoise/turtle (I don't remember)

An iguana

A giant toad

A snake climbing the wall (it kind of reminded me of the snake on Harry Potter)

A sloth

Another monkey

A cool looking snake

A kangaroo/rabbit/rodent thing

A little alligator

A cool lizard

A cool looking turtle

More monkey

Meerkats

A cool snake skull

Another lizard

This one is one of my favorite pictures of the whole day! Right when I took the picture the owl looked right at me! Awesome!

Porcupines with crazy long quills

A cool looking bird

And I think this bird is called a spoonbill or something like that

A sweet wolf

Some giraffes, which by the way, their tongues are sooooo long!

A tiger

I think this was a leopard

Some parrots just chillin

Bald Eagles

Another parrot

Camels

If we were gorillas. . .

Orangutans (the second one is huge!)

A gorilla just hanging out

Some more skunk monkeys

Eric couldn't smell it, but whenever we got close to the bats they smelled soooo bad! It was probably the worst smell I have ever smelled in my entire life!

A piranha

Some cute little monkeys

If you click on this picture to make it big you can barely see the baby hanging on to the mother monkey

So this guy had a pretty sweet hairdo. . .

A strange turtle

Me in an egg

Me and Eric in the gopher holes, also take a look at the second picture. It's a huge bohemoth of a gopher

And one last bat
