I got a JOB!!!!

I got a JOOOOOOOOBBBBB!!!
I am now a substitute teacher here in Pocatello. I have been doing it now for a few weeks. I sub for high school and middle school. It's a love/hate relationship. Sometimes I really love it (when the kids behave and listen) and then sometimes I have a really hard time (when they are being little turd-heads) but otherwise I like this job.

New Hairdo

I can't believe it, but I cut my hair even shorter. I almost didn't want to because I looooooove my ponytails. But, I decided to do something different and make it so I had to do my hair every day. My cousin Summer did it and I loooove it! Thanks Summer!

I'm Feelin Crafty

So while I was at work the other day the teacher had this really cute craft on her shelf so I decided I wanted to do it to so I took a picture of it with my phone and then after work went to Lowe's and got some 2x4's cut (for free!) went to the craft stores and got some Halloween paper and some Mod Podge. It took a little while doing them but it was fun and I'll probably make some more because it was pretty inexpensive which is what I like.

So here they are!!!
I also put letters on the other side of the blocks with different color of paper so I could switch it around if I felt like it.

Puzzling...

So the other day I went to DI to see if they had any matching chairs for our diningroom table. Well they didn't so instead I got a microwave cookbook, a sewing book, and two puzzles. I did one of the puzzles by myself. It was kind of hard because the pieces weren't in regular puzzle shape and it didn't have regular straight edges. It also had different shapes within the puzzle like a cat, flower, umbrella, so it made it kind of hard to figure it out.
The other puzzle said on the box that it was supposedly the hardest puzzle ever made but, it was probably made about 30 years ago. The reason why it was so hard was that it had the same puzzle on the other side rotated 90 degrees. So it was hard to figure out where the pieces went because it had the same on the back. We ended working on the puzzle until really late (about 1ish in the morning) and then we decided to go to bed and work on it the next day. So we finally finished it and here it is!

Bread Day

So a while ago my mom ground some wheat to make me some wheat flour and I finally started to use it and make some bread, that and we had just run out of bread. I looked on the Internet for some recipes and pretty much all of them called for dough enhancer (whatever that is) and gluten. So we went to Winco and got some gluten but there was no dough enhancer. Finally later that day Eric found some dough enhancer at WalMart. There was a recipe on the back of that so I decided to just use that and this is the finished product! It was actually pretty good and not so dense and dry like other bread. Aaaaaand it's kind of squishy like store bought bread. I was really in a baking mood that day and while I was making the wheat bread I made some pumpkin chocolate chip bread while I was making the other bread. Yay me!

True Bengal!

So this whole past week was Homecoming Week at ISU and they have this one event that I'm pretty sure they stole the idea from Utah State, it's True Bengal. We were never able to do it before and last night was the first night we were finally able to. Basically you go on top of Red Hill where the pillars are at and kiss at midnight while touching them. It was fun but it was pretty darn cold.

Waiting til midnight freezing our butts off...
Night view of Poky...
And the kiss!
Now I'm a True Bengal after I've graduated.

Why I miss Las Vegas...

So last night it was pretty cold and the good ol Idaho skies decided it would like to start winter early and snow on the LAST DAY OF SEPTEMBER!!!! Ridiculous! This is why I miss Vegas. This is our car after the snowage. Not excited.
