Today we went on a "hike" to the Hobbit Caves up in Logan Canyon. Eric found the place on the website Trek Planner. Basically you park, go across the creek, walk a couple of minutes and then you're there. It took a while driving around to find it. There used to be a bridge that goes across the creek but it wasn't there anymore, so instead there were some boards going across the water. It was a nice short walk after the crossing to get to the caves. There were a bunch of little caves in some rocks. Most of them were too small for adults to get in. There was one that had a small opening, but once you got inside, it was a lot bigger. I could barely fit in the hole and I scraped my arms going in and out. Emma came in with me too. Owen did too but he kept bonking his head. Emma had the most fun I think exploring all of the caves. Owen probably would've had more fun if he didn't keep hitting his head. Conner, I think, enjoyed it a bit but he got bored with it quickly. It was another fun adventure. If you went on top of the bigger cave, there was a hole you could look down and see into the cave.
Once we were done we came home and then went and ate at the HuHot in Layton. Conner and Emma didn't eat a ton, Owen didn't at first, but then he started shoving the noodles in his mouth. It was pretty funny. It was fun/interesting to go out and eat.
