South Ogden Hike

I wanted to go on a hike today so I looked on the All Trails app. We found one in South Ogden called the South Ogden Bonneville Shoreline Trail. It said it was 2.4 miles and about 58 minutes long and it was easy. The trail was a skinny one so we couldn't walk side by side. It was a fairly easy hike, nothing too steep, up or down. We ended up going to the Uintah Cemetery and then to this little pond. We didn't stay too long at the pond because the kids were tired and I think it was a homeless camp. The kids did have fun throwing sticks and rocks in the pond though. The hike went longer than originally anticipated because we went to the cemetery and the pond. We ended up going 4.38 miles! Yowza! Conner and Emma did pretty good. They did get a little whiny but I can't really blame them. Owen was pretty whiny and Eric carried him a lot. Overall I was impressed with the kids.

Today we went to Red Robin. The kids did pretty good there.

Once we got back our neighbor had a water party. Conner and Emma were so excited. They had so much fun!

13th Anniversary

Today was Eric and I's 13th wedding anniversary. We didn't do too much because of the whole quarantine thing. I did cut Conner and Owen's hair. Eric sent me some pretty flowers. They smelled so good! We had Mo'Bettah's for dinner and Fiiz. We didn't really do much else.

Park City

This weekend I got to go to Park City with some girl friends

Saturday

This morning I met some girls in Layton and then to Bountiful to pick up one more. Then we drove down to Park City and met at Squatter's We couldn't all sit together at the same table so we sat 4 and 4. At our table we got some scones to share. It was pretty decent food there.

After lunch, we headed to the outlets and did some shopping. I got a couple pairs of joggers, shirts for the kids, and slippers. I also got some lotions, spray, and soap. Once we were done shopping, we headed to our condo. It was a pretty nice place. There were 2 bedrooms, 1 kind and 1 queen, 2 bathrooms, and a loft with 2 queens. I claimed the one with the king. It had a bathroom connected to it which was nice. 

Once we got unpacked, we sat outside on the deck for a little bit. The view was really pretty.

After, we got dressed to go swimming/hot tubbing. When we got down there, we found out it was closed on Saturdays because of the virus, which is dumb. So then we came back and some of us decided to go get pedicures while the others stayed back at the condo. The pedis were really nice and felt so good. We had fun talking and just relaxing. Once we were done there, we went to Walmart to get a few things (games and candy). I got Emma a new swimsuit. Once we got back,

Once we got back, we just hung out and talked. Eventually we played one of the games someone got called, What Do You Meme? It was pretty fun. After that, me Lori, and Jen put on some masks and played around with them. It was pretty funny. We also watched the end of Grown Ups 2. We were all pretty tired after that so we headed to bed. Those of us that were staying downstairs, stayed up and talked some more. Erin came down at some point  and scared Lori and Jen. So funny. Me and Mindi scared Lori and Jen again too. Eventually we went to bed.

While I was down in Park City, Eric was up in Idaho with the kids at Nicolle's parents' place for Matt's graduation party. They had fun swimming in the pool.

Sunday

Today, when we woke up, we (downstairs) talked a little bit and then went upstairs. People ate breakfast, some took a shower (me), and some went on a walk. Once we all had eaten breakfast, we got all packed up, cleaned the place, and hurry and took some group pictures. Then we checked out, talked in the parking lot for a little bit, and then headed home. It was such a fun weekend. We/I laughed until we almost peed our pants, ate a lot of food, and made good memories. I am so glad I/we were able to go on this trip.
