Conner:
- Told a joke, "What happens when a cow doesn't shave?" It grows a mustache!"
- He's been in to telling jokes, some he's heard before and some he makes up
Once we got home from the cabin, we unloaded our stuff, put some of it away and then hung out for a bit before we left for dinner. We were going to go to Olive Garden but the wait was too long so we went to Texas Roadhouse instead. My mom and dad and Emily came too. Eric and I had steak and Conner and Emma had sliders. Owen got a little restless.
They stole my phone
After dinner we came back home, we took our traditional pictures, finished our Light the World scriptures and then we opened our spiritual gifts. We got, as a family, the family Book of Mormon. After we did that Emma and I hurry and made some cookies for Santa. Luckily, it was a kit so it wasn't too hard. Once they were done, we got all ready for bed and we set out a plate of cookies for Santa and some milk. I can't wait to see the kids in the morning.
This past weekend we were able to stay at the cabin in Bear Lake again.
Friday - 12/21
We left today after the kids got out of school. Tia them, Matt them, and my parents and Emily had gone up yesterday. Stacey them showed up a few hours after us. We just hung out the rest of the night.
Saturday - 12/22
Today the kids sledded out back a little bit. We opened up our sibling gifts. Before dinner we made gingerbread houses. After dinner, we just hung out the rest of the night.
Sunday - 12/23
Today was a low-key day. Everybody went to church and I stayed back at the cabin with Owen because he had a cough. Matt and Nicolle left early to go back to Blackfoot. While at the cabin I cleaned up and made the mac salad for lunch. By that time everybody had come back. We didn't do too much today. The kids watched a lot of movies but we didn't mind because they were quiet. For lunch we just had leftovers from all of the other meals. For dinner, it was us. We made sloppy joes, corn and mac salad.
Monday - 12/24
We didn't do too much today. For breakfast we just had cereal. Afterwards, we all cleaned up and then headed back home. Luckily, we had brought chains because it was slick getting out.
