C & E Monthiversary

Holy cow these guys are 7!! I didn't do very good at all writing stuff down for these two for this month. But, they both love school and are doing really well with it. Conner is doing better behaviorally, which is really good and Emma is starting to talk more and not be so silent in class, which is also a bonus.

Ward Party

Today was our ward's Easter party. We had breakfast first (breakfast burritos) and then all of the primary kids went up to the front and sang a song.

After they were done singing then it was time to go outside for the Easter egg hunt. Conner and Emma did a lot better this year getting eggs. Last year they didn't get very much. But, they all had fun finding and getting the eggs. After all of the eggs were found they had to open them up and get all of the stuff out so they could give them back. They had little toys and different candy inside of them. I think the kids had a lot of fun this year.

Date Night

Tonight, Eric and I were able to go on a date. First, we went to a trampoline place. I had been wanting to go to one for a while. We had a lot of fun there and we realized how out of shape we are. 

 

There was one thing that you could jump off of and land on a big airbag. I was so nervous because I'm scared of heights, but I did it and I'm glad I did. I ended up doing it a few more times.

There was another spot where you jump on these extra bouncy tramps and try and get on these high platforms. I wasn't very good at that. The last jump I was doing, I hurt my back so we had to stop. So we left and ate dinner at  Red Robin with my free birthday burger. It was pretty good.

Bountiful Temple

I was able to go to the Bountiful Temple by myself. I just felt that i needed to. Eric was nice enough to watch the kids for me so that I could go. It was a good session and I am glad that I went.

My 32nd Birthday!!

Today I turned 32! I went around and got some free stuff because it was my birthday.

And apparently my birthday was the International Day of Happiness

I made a peach upside down cake. It turned out pretty yummy

I made egg rolls and sweet and sour chicken for my dinner

Happy Birthday to me!

It was a pretty good birthday. Eric had gotten me 2 different Harry Potter "Lego" sets. A Harry Potter doll/figure thing and a Hawaiian island hat. It was a good day.

Idaho

This weekend we went up to Idaho because Matt was being ordained an Elder. We came up on Saturday and just hung out with my family. We watched Tia's kids for a little bit while her and Blaise went to a reception. It was a good night. The kids slept in a fort in the living room. They thought that was pretty cool.

Today we went to an earlier ward in my parents' building so we could make it to Matt's thing on time. After Matt got ordained we went to Tia's house for lunch. We had a baked potato bar, fruit, veggies, and soda. It was all pretty good. Stacey brought the desserts (angel food cake with chocolate whipped cream and pound cake with strawberry and/or whipped cream and chocolate chip cookies). After we ate we all just hung out and talked while the kids played.

Owen's Monthiversary

Owen:
- Says thank-you (sounds kind of like uh-oh)
- Says love you, except with "W" instead of consonants
- Is starting to walk really good. Holds his hands above his shoulders, so cute!
- Can get up by himself and doesn't have to crawl to a chair or walk etc. to stand up
