Institute Opening Night...
So there was the bungee run and I thought I was kicking everybody's butt because I beat them by a few feet every time, but then we figured out that on the other lane the bungee is a little tighter than the other one. (I probably still would have won if they were the same). There was also some gladiator jousting toys which were very hard to even stand on them. Summer won that round 2-1. The last picture is my favorite.

The Rest of December

So I am very terrible at blogging lately. But at least I am updating it right? Well anyways here's what happened the rest of December.

Decorating the Tree

Here is our REAL TREE!!!!

So we got our Christmas tree stuff from Eric's parents' house and we realized we left our lights in our fake Christmas tree box, so the next day we drive down there to get them and when we get back we realized half of them were dead, this was a Sunday so we couldn't get new lights until Monday. So we decided to get the fancy pancy new LED lights that will hopefully last longer and use less energy (bonus!). We decided to make/decorate some new ornaments. We did that on the Sunday we didn't have any lights. It was a lot of fun decorating them. The pictures definitely do not do it justice.
And here is our sweet tree all decorated! The second one is cool to because it looks like it's glowing (which is kind of is).

Thanksgiving Week(end)

This year we had Thanksgiving at my parent's house. It was a lot of fun because we got to see a lot of people that we didn't get to see at the family reunion this summer because we were in Vegas. This picture is of Emily. She had to sleep on the couch (thanks) because all of the other beds were taken and I though she looked kind of funny.

My brother Matt watched his friend's little turtle for the weekend and this picture I thought was really cute of Katie and Jace really looking at the turtle.

A family tradition that my family has done for as long as I can remember is going up in the mountains to get our Christmas trees. This year I was excited because me and Eric finally were able to get a real tree because we have enough room! Here is our tree!
