My Other Cousin's Wedding

Today another one of my cousins got married. He got married in the SLC Temple. After the wedding we went to the yummy luncheon and afterwards since there was time to spare we went to Temple Square to walk around for a bit.

This is the only picture I took on Temple Square

At the reception they had soft serve ice cream and BFFs Gage and Dallas thought it was funny to stick their fingers in the ice cream and make a hole.

And my funny little sister brought some eclairs home from the reception. It was late when they started back on their way back to my house and she had fallen asleep. On the eclairs.

Early Anniversary

Today we went to SLC spur of the moment and celebrated our 6th Anniversary a day early. First we decided to go to the Hogle Zoo. I think the kids enjoyed it for the most part. They both liked the monkeys. Emma would get more excited looking at the display signs and Conner liked to more at the people. The zoo was pretty cool. They had animals/displays made out of Legos.

Here's the peacock that was roaming the zoo. They are so pretty!

Here's my little monkeys

A big ol gorilla

The Lego penguins

A goat

Another Lego exhibit of cute little monkeys

 The cute "little" baby giraffe

A huge walrus skull

A lazy seal

The kids checking out the polar bear. It was pretty cool. It would swim around its pond/pool and then come right up to the window.

The grizzly bear

The Bald Eagle

And here is the Lego version of the polar bear

In the souvenir shop they had this Lego display of the progression of a rainforest being torn down and developed

And our family picture in front of the zoo sign

The kids were pretty pooped after we were done at the zoo. Emma even stayed asleep until I had ordered my food and then she woke up when I started to eat it.

We decided to go to the Olive Garden. I hadn't been there in a while and it was pretty good. I had some sort of pasta that was pretty good and this really yummy chocolate cake.
