"Newborn" Pictures

About a month ago a girl that used to be in my ward took Conner and Emma's pictures. I was so excited to finally get actual pictures taken of them. She did such an amazing job and I am super grateful! Here is a link to her photography blog with some other pictures she had taken of them and here are some of my favorites:

We tried to get Conner to smile in the pictures but all he did was just stare at us, which was kind of funny. Here's some of Conner:
I like this one because it shows his big scar that he got from all of his surgeries
We were able to get some pictures of Emma smiling, it was pretty cute. Here are some of Emma:
It was pretty funny, but she tried a few times to eat the furry material.
And here are some of them together.
This one is one of my favorites of them together because it shows Emma's mischievous little smile and how Conner likes to play with his hands.

7 months and Halloween

So Conner and Emma are 7 months old! I can't believe how big they have gotten since they were born. They have definitely been a blessing in our lives. Here are their regular 7 months pictures with their teddy bears.
For Halloween we wanted to go to McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden and visit some of the nurses in the NICU. Even though Conner and Emma could have cared less what was going on, we dressed them up nonetheless. Conner was a caterpillar and Emma was a little ballerina.
This is us at the hospital.
It was so fun seeing some of the nurses that we hadn't seen in months! All of the nurses hadn't seen Conner since he was a month old and only a few pounds so they were pretty excited. This picture is of us and one of our favorite nurses who had taken care of the babies and the one who was taking care of Conner when he had to be life-flighted to PCMC. She was so awesome!

6 Months

Here are they're 6 month pictures. I can't believe they are almost 7 months! This year has gone by so fast!

Conner
Emma
Conner and Emma with their bears
And Conner and Emma with 'Aulani's bear. I tried to get a better picture but this is the best one I could get (still not looking at each other)

5 Months

This is their kind of 5 month pictures. They're late by a few days because I didn't take them until after Conner had come home.

Here's Conner with his bear
And Emma with hers

They're Home!!!!!

So as you can tell from the title they are finally home! Emma came home July 17. Here are a couple of pictures from that day. She was so so little. When we took her home she was just under 6 lbs!

This is right before we took her home from the hospital
So tiny in her car seat
So little
Our first family (kind of) picture
Our cute little bug

And Conner came home August 29! This is him right before we took him home from the hospital
Conner didn't look quite as small as Emma did in his car seat
Together at last!
All three of the babies together
We thought since the babies hadn't seen each other in 4 months that they would maybe look at each other or have some sort of special multiples bond, but as you can tell from the picture they didn't and still don't really look at each other.

An Update

For those of you who didn't know, I had the triplets at 24 weeks (March 25). We named them Conner, Emma, and 'Aulani. They each weighed less than a pound and a half. Eight days after they were born 'Aulani passed away. Eric and I were able to hold her as she passed. It was an honor and a privilege to have held perfection. Connor and Emma are doing well and have their ups and downs, but they are strong little babies.

Well I Have Some Good Good Good News. . .

As many of you already know I am pregnant with not 1, or 2 babies, but 3!!! We are excited but overwhelmed at the same time. It was definitely a surprise to us when we found out but we figure it was meant to happen. And if you are wondering, we did get pregnant with help from a fertility clinic, which is why there are 3 babies instead of the more normal 1. And if you don't believe me here is some proof of all 3, well sort of. It was hard to get a picture of all 3 babies at the same time so it's of all 3 of the different sacs.
And for even more proof, here are ultrasounds of each of the babies
And for the pregnant (not so pretty) picture. In this one I'm about 15 1/2 weeks.
Your welcome Stacey.
