If 3 Year Olds Were Photographers. . .

Last Friday my good friend Leisha had her baby shower and it was so fun to see her again! She looked so cute!
So since me and Eric were in Idaho Falls for the shower (he didn't go obviously) we stayed at Stacey's house for the night and hung out with them for a bit on Saturday.

So Jace wanted to take pictures with my camera. I thought he was only going to take one or two pictures but then he ran off with it take pictures of random things. And here they are...

Pool Party

So today our apartment complex had a pool party. They had free hot dogs and drinks, cotton candy, etc. It was pretty fun. Towards the end they had a few games that you could win prizes but most of that was for kid stuff. But, they had a raffle where you could win free rent and we ended up winning $50 of next month's rent! Woohoo!

Pirate Breakfast & Garage Selling

Today in my parents ward they had a pirate themed breakfast. They had yummy pancakes and homemade fruit syrups, fruit, eggs and ham.

Set up through out the lawn were different games and activities that the kids could do. One of them were these little pools filled with sand and pennies that the kids could dig for and get as many as they wanted. It was funny sometimes watching them dig for the pennies because there would be some right in front of their face and they'd totally miss it. A couple of times Jace would dive across the pool to get some coins that Matt found. Katie and Jace loved digging in the pool and didn't want to leave them.

Another activity they had was popping bubbles with swords. Jace was so funny watching run clear across the lawn trying to get all of the bubbles.

The also had a candy cannon for the kids and a picture treasure hunt where they had a picture of an object and had to find where it was and that's where the next clue would be. At the end of the treasure hunt they had a treasure chest full of little prizes for the kids to pick out of and this is what Jace picked.

After the breakfast me, Stacey, and my mom met Tia in Pocatello to go to some garage sales. On the way there I got to sit in the back and watch Gage. I kept trying to get him to make this one face but as soon as I would click the camera he'd change faces so I got a lot of pictures of him.
And finally here it is!

The Temple

Today we were able to finally go to the Ogden Temple. We will only be able to go a few more times because it is being totally remodeled and will look totally different on the outside when it is done. So here it is!

Family Reunion

So this past weekend we went to a family reunion on my side in Bonanza. It was a lot of fun. We weren't able to go last year so I was really excited to go this time.

On Saturday, in a little old mining town, Custer, a couple of miles from the campground, was their Custer Days. They had "gun fights," demonstrations, and half-price admission in the dredge museum, which I had wanted to go to last time we were there but we didn't get to. The dredge is this old gold mining house/building thing on water. It would scoop up rocks from the bottom of the river and the get the gold out of it. And another fun fact about it was that it was formerly owned by J.R. Simplot. This first picture is the cool patterns the dredge made as it would sweep back and forth.

Later that day when there was a break in the thunder/lightning and rain, some of the people decided to go jump of the bridge. I thought about it but I already did it the last time I was there and it was still cold outside.

My two cousins, Aubrey and Whitney, were trying to decide if they were going to go or not and Aubrey (the youngest of the two) finally decided to go. After she went Whitney had to go so she wouldn't be outdone by her little sister.

So now there are these new HUGE marshmallows and my aunt brought some so I decided to make a MONDO s'mores with mint Oreos. It was like eating 4 or 5 s'mores!
And these are pretty much the only pictures I took of the family, maybe next year.

We were able to go to Lagoon this weekend with Summer and Neal and we had a lot of fun. While we were walking around we saw the building where they take the western pictures and I had always wanted to take those pictures so we decided to.
